d1 clone maybe

its much closer to d2 then d1 in all aspects
imo

this game use to have a fairly strong English speaking crowd for a Japanese game
they actually turned off the lobby client so you could no longer play on their severs
and the people who ran mischievoussociety / like jsp for shadowflare / the guide
is down aswell
so the game is essentially dead.
but it was/is very fun
and u can play lan via hamachi or other programs
