Game is $20 from gamefly right now. I'm looking for a new game to play, and the reviews I've read seem to be skewed completely in one direction or the other.

Has anyone played this?

It isn't a bad game; the fluidity of the game at the start might deter many from playing, but it gets better when you progress through the game. If you are looking for something to pass some time, it should occupy you for a good 35+ hours or so. That being said, this game focusses more on the crafting aspect rather than action/combat, so if that's your cup of tea, then go for it.

I've only played Atelier Iris 1, 2 and 3. Mana Khemia 1, and 2. I liked them as just your general JRPG, but there wasn't a whole lot of unique stuff in the games. I dunno what the new Atelier series games are like. :x
