Just played through Dragon Age: Origins.

Really enjoyed a lot of aspects of it.

I heard dragon age 2 was bad

it was alright, though a little underwhelming in gameplay (which is not much like DA:O at all , more of a hack 'n slash button mash)
mass effect is nice , though more of a shooter
KOTOR 1/2 are very similar in gameplay and something I recommend if you've not played

staying on the rpg end but more to the action side, if you have a ps3 dark souls and demons souls are great (and a challenge, if you enjoy them)
on that same note, kingdoms of amalur: reckoning is good as well.

I was thinking about Kingdoms of Amalur, just not sure if it's worth the $55.

I like KoA better than Skyrim actually, I'd say it's worth the money but then again I didn't shell out the cash for it if you get my drift. Batman Arkham City is pretty good too but not as RPG-esque as you'd want it to be. I also thought Two Worlds II was pretty epic when it came out.

Dark Souls is one of my FAVORITE games of all time. It may be very hard and stressful, but it's SOO fun!

I just thought of another pimpin one, Darksiders. The most mature Zelda game made.
