Phantasy Star Portable series = that style of play.
I really wanna know more too, so if I think of/find anymore I'll post em here to help.

Also Ys Seven for Psp is kind of like diablo style (not a lot, just you get items from enemies drops and such with an open battle system)

for PC try the fate series *( i believe theres 3 of them)
as for psp... Im kinda looking for the same thing. The phantasy star series is good. Monster hunter is pretty good.
Ys seven as aformentioned is really good, its more final fantasy style than diablo but the battles are action and not turn based.
