Just recently started playing this one for the first time. I'm a sucker for a deep, entertaining plot and Xenogears is famous for such a plot. One thing I have noticed so far though is that the game doesn't seem very difficult. I'm sure that it does pick up though as I am not far at all.

So I guess I was wondering for those that have played it:
1. Is it really worth playing? Is the story as good as they say?
2. I like to be challenged, is this game at all challenging?

The story of a man who's lost his memories and has within himself the potential to be the "destroyer of god"? Great story and great combat system though disc 2 sucks ass...

one of the greatest rpg stories ever, i remember i had to read up on it because it was a tad confusing, well with the timelines and stuff, but awesome story, fun gameplay, fun minigames
