Hello, I have been searching for this for a while.

Me and my friend have been looking for a campaign based rpg that can be played (either online or via LAN) with 2-4 people.

Any games with long campaigns, especially if they are challenging, are appreciated.

Some examples of games we liked are:
-Dragon Age Origins Single Player
-Oblivion Single Player
-D2 Preferably looking for a game with a campaign similar, but like 10x longer.
-Gauntlet games (ones for xbox/gamecube, etc.)
-Basically campaign based hack + slash

We have tried games such as neverwinter nights and baldurs gate, but did not like very much.


I am not sure if there are any other rps out that meet this description, but I thought it was worth a try to post here.

i hear there's a good community, lots of quests and shops n shit. No magic tho

a really strong fun one i think you will like is: Titan Quest.

I heard that is a fun game, but I also heard there was an infestation of flaming homosexuals out there.

Diablo 2 Median XL, if you have'nt already played it. D2 median XL has a lot of content based on the diablo books, which i like. And the game overall is surprisingly amazing. At 1st I thought it would be just a crapy version of diablo 2, but its not! It's a totally different fresh diablo 2. It can be played with others too via TCP/IP. If anyone's interested in joining me and my friends, pm me and we can arrange something. Another option is to actually read the Diablo: Sin War books, because theyre awsome and 1000x better than playing lame games of the present.
