im thinking of buying hellgate london soon, my friend i go to school with says its a good game and i was wondering what your opinions are on it. let me know!

I think it costs 10€ in the stores right now and that´s definitely a good price for a funny game.

The only problem is that the producer does not exist any more and you can´t play it online, but you still got the single player mode.

Hellgate is a little bit like "Diablo 2 meets Science Fiction", the reason could be that a handful of former Diablo-programmer made that game

the gameplay is fun, classes are all good and there are lots of cool spells

but the environments are repetitive as fuck, and you can only play single player

They are actually working on getting it back online.
But still, as said, environments are really repetitive and there are like 10 different monsters (more if you count different colored skins). -.-
Yet it's still a fun game.

When Habitsoft gets it online in the states it's going to be Free2Play, so I'd suggest just waiting for that. It's going to have a cash shop like the current Korean iteration.

I bought the game
Then as i went to get a better graphics card and install my xp, it was a day before it shut down
So I never really got to enjoy it, i had about an hour of playing it on my brothers computer
I enjoyed it alot, lol but yea never got it all worked out on my computer, never try'd since it was only a day before the close

they shut down all servers after not even a year already lol, also website is offline etc.

guess you have your answer, it's fail(!)
