Ok, I know all of us Gamecube owners must have said at one point or another, "Gamecube sux, it has no good rpg's!" Don't deny it! Anyways I was wondering if you guys have come accrosed some good ones that you may liek to discuss. Tell us the title of it and what you thot about it.

Two greats I've come across are from the good ppl at Namco, the very people who brought us Pacman.

First is Baten Kaitos, and rpg played using cards called "magnus" inside the cards you can trap the essense of anything, therefor thats how weapons and magic are also distributed. And with a good battle system theres a Nice story Line. And its a rather long one at that so you'll be playing it for weeks. And for those of you who enjoy Tough fights, well this game is full of difficult fights that may take you a couple trys to actualy complete. And At a gameover, you can try over right from the fight, so you don't have to do all that walking again. Id give it an over all score of 8/10. My only dislike was the quality of the character voices. They were a bit sketchy.

The secodn great Rpg I've coem across is Tales of Smyphonia, an on going series which soem of you may have seen from earlier games on the PS1. This game is about a chosens journey to become an angel in order to keep the mana flow of their world stable. With 8 interesting characters to get to know it will probably become an instant favorite. And The battle systems give you free motion of the area you'r fighting on, Not that you fight on screen, but you have freedom in the battle stages. And Like Baten Kaitos, You get over 80 hours of gameplay at your disposal with fun little easter eggs hiding everywheres. I give this game a 9/10 The onyl thing I didn't liek was the cell shading. A Type of coloring you may have noticed in The Dragon Ball Z Budakai games.

Your turn.

Agreed with your second choice, tales of symphonia was an awesome game, but the gameboy version, tales of phantasia, did not show much promise tongue.gif

I would like to state that tales of symphonia was the only good rpg game that i found for gamecube...all other reeked sad.gif
