Greatest CRPG of all time, hands down. The premise is unique, the protagonist is incredibly deep and complex, the storyline and dialogue are masterfully written -- I could rattle off a small essay of praise and that's without touching the incredible NPCs and their interactions with eachother and the PC. I reinstalled it recently on my laptop (with all of the fan-made bug-fixes and widescreen resolution enablers) as I haven't given it a playthrough in a couple of years. I love that every time I revisit a 10 year old game, I discover something new.

Yeah, it's really good. I'm actually still playing through it for the first time, myself... so don't spoil any part of the story for me! biggrin.gif Really liking it so far. tongue.gif

I was wondering, though... How long is the game? Like, total hours, etc.?

It's hard to assign a specific length to it as there's a ton of optional content (secrets, sidequests). If I had to assign a range to it, I'd say you could easily spend anywhere from 60-100 hours on a single playthrough.

I like a lengthy RPG. biggrin.gif Sounds good.

How far in the game do I have to be before I get Morte back? He's awesome, lulz.

You begin a quest sequence to rescue him shortly after his capture .. it's quite involved though, so don't expect a simple resolution. biggrin.gif

happy.gif I came into this library-like place that had skulls sitting on every shelf, so I thought I'd find him here. xD I have to find a special skull for some wizard dude in the Lower Ward.
