The trilogy of games was made with RPG Maker 2000. Obviously the graphics aren't the best and a lot of the character sets and graphics have come from other games, but I feel these games are amazing. LP2 lacks a bit more in storyline than the others, but its still a nice transition. These games have provided me with 200+ hours of RPG goodness. There are sooooooo many sidequests that you will most likely miss a few on the first time through. Luckily, they have a very active discussion board with a lot of helpful forumers.

The creator of the games, known as Damianzeking, Damian, or DZK, is french and so a little of the translation is off, but its still very easy to understand. He also has a couple of other rpg's on his site that he has put together known as Blades of Heaven and Laxius Team to the Rescue (a game consisting of his forumers).

So anyways, download them and give them a try.
