Anyone here has played any Dragon Warrior (1 to 4) on NES console or emulator?
I've played these games since I was a kid, about 15 years ago, especially the first one that i finished many times.
I even remember when I saw the commercials of Dragon Warrior I on TV lol, then we bought the game and it was fun smile.gif
And back then, we didn't have internet to get some walkthrough help, so we had to finish the game without cheating, and it took me about 2 years to complete the first one lol (well I wasn't playing everyday)
It took me that long cuz I was born in Montreal, and learned english late at school (started with french), so it took me a while to understand some important messages to finish the game sooner laugh.gif
Then many years later, when the emulations came out, I DL'd DW 2 and 3 on roms versions and finished them.
And of course I remember those metal slims and babbles that give a lot of exp biggrin.gif

DW is my favorite RPG series. Of course, I grew up with those games, and remember when DW was being distributed FREE with a subscription to Nintendo Power when that first kicked off. smile.gif

Dragon Quest 8 was also very well done. I didn't particularly care for 7, though. sad.gif
