Baldur's Gate PC series. BG1 is the absolute most awesome RPG I've ever played. Tales of The Sword Coast was fantastic, Shadows of Amn, not quite as good but still very fun. Throne of Bhaal, interesting content for sure.

Baldur's Gate for the PC, hands down.

(I don't consider the PS2 series to be of RPG quality. It was junk. Onyx sword and mace of disruption made any character GFG and if you ever died as a necromancer in 2 then you pretty much failed at life. And that's just a couple of the retardedly obvious issues with it)

Totally agree with Morrowind. I think it is the only game, that i have clocked 500 hours in. Maybe more.

Final Fantasy Tactics with the Zodiac Brave Story, or FFVII with the materia system and just the whole story line. So So Captivating.

Because FFs are like the best RPGs, you can get different endings, choose different paths to finish your objectives/quests during story, etc etc.. oh wait.

The Elder Scrolls series does this to perfection! You could choose to do all quests as they should be done. You could on purpose screw quests up. You could make a totally screwed up save. Well, it is of course a matter of opinion.
