i agree with this guy

diablo will never evolve like WOW and everquest. WOW and everquest are both purley mmorpg. and they are literally never ending. the diablo series are hack and slash. u beat the game you are done with it. then u go on to pk or mfing. everquest and wow thewre is literally no end. no last boss nothing. it is not beatable. sure there is a last lvl and u can macx your skills but that takes an enourmous amount of time and they always coming out with new stuff. even if u did get it all maxxed there is still new gear to find and many quests to do.

i doubt it, wow is making blizzard too much money.
celebrity marketing, expanding client base.
i think there are additional plans for expansion for wow.
i don't think diablo 3 will be due out anytime soon. maybe when the generation of diablo players have offspring.

no.. diablo 3 will never come out.. as some1 mentioned the guys who made diablo left blizzard and formed flagship studios.. they have also made a game called Mythos .. which is more or less based on diablo , it has alot of similarities (gems , skill style , dungeon style , merc for hire , etc , if you try mythos you will see that it is alot like diablo and i think thats the closest you will ever get to a diablo III ~http://mythos.com/

I just learned about that Mythos game from this post. I've looked at HellGate London but wasn't too attracted to it.
The one thing that kinda threw me off with Mythos was the revenue model with item sales for real money - but looking closer perhaps it's not too bad after all, since they're not going to be selling the powerful items for money.

I signed up for the beta - hoping for an invite but it looks like it could be a while seeing how they just finished passing out a new round of invites.

im fackin tired of hearing it, people who was in Blizzard and made Diablo2 and Diablo 2 lod, got fired ( spelt wrong i think ) from blizzard Studio, they made their own company whích is now Flagship Studios ( creator of Hellgate: London ) thats why there havn't been a d3 yet, and i dont think it will come out, unless Flagship Studios buy Diablo series ( lol ) of Blizzard so they can make a Diablo 3 .

How could you fall for that, seriously take an IQ test, you'll fail it.

They can't even finish SC2, how can they start on D3 project? Unless they have the man power and resources for it(which I doubt since they're investing so much in WoW.) they won't even invest on it.
