Doubltful we see anything within the next few years. Also when it does come out I am willing to bet it will be a MMORPG with a monthly fee.They will milk it until people get bored and move onto the next game and you will wait 10-20 years longer for d4.As small as d2 is in comparison to some of the mmorpg's I am honestly suprised they have released d3 or an xpac but thats life.Most of the faithful diablo players will more then likly move onto somthing else when it comes out anyways due to the fact its more then likly going to be a WoW replica only replaces the class names with diablo names.In any case diablo has seen better days.

Blizzard normally develop's a new game each 4 years, next game on the list is starcraft 2 wich will either please or diplease sc players, but then maybe a d3 would come out and eat WoW. Idk if they would do a d2 like game that would use a b.net style server. If , yeah .. if there would be a d3 it would then be in 2012, a bit far for any guess about the game.

And yes, they are pulling things from WoW to get idea's, they are not using the stuff tho.

Sheesh, when Diablo2 comes out, it will be some 3-D game like WoW, which I just hate! The interface of d2 better not change, or else I'm sticking with good ole' d2 !
