Final Fantasy Tactics with the Zodiac Brave Story, or FFVII with the materia system and just the whole story line. So So Captivating.

YES!
im actually a huge fan of this style of rpg's. Arcanum, fallout 1, 2 and tactics, bladurs gates, etc. it's still hard to find games with characters and storylines as indepth as titles like these.

Because FFs are like the best RPGs, you can get different endings, choose different paths to finish your objectives/quests during story, etc etc.. oh wait.
