Ha. It wasn't all bad, but their internet is slow, and my laptop is NOT built for gaming. My brother still lives there, but he doesn't have the attention span to play any fun games.

I'm not currently playing it, but has anyone ever played Resonance of Fate?

It's a really unique game by tri ace....I think it came out near the beginning of the 360/PS3 Era. I put about 15-20 hours into it months ago, and remember quitting from frustration but just saw some game play footage and realize how much I miss it.

My update with FFX~

Just about to get control of the airship, extremely overwhelmed with the game's possibilities now and sort of torn between whether or not I want to beat the game and then go back to do the sidequests, or do a majority of the sidequests, beat the game, then finish what's left. Who knows, scared that once I beat the game I won't have the drive to accomplish the extra stuff.

Overwhelmed because you haven't played it in a while? Or because of new content?

YOu could also just make a save file where you're at, and just never save over it. That way you can come back and play whichever fork you don't take now.

Little bit of both I suppose, moreso that it's just been a long time and I can't remember for the life of me what's the best first thing to do; probably a little combination of ultimate weapons and Omega Ruins. Then work my way into the Monster Arena and when I'm feeling brave the Dark Aeons/Penance. Once I get a few ultimate weapons I'll beat the game and just backtrack to finish what's left. Initially I was afraid I'd lose my drive after seeing the ending but now I'm convinced that won't be the case, with all of this international content I'm not going to abandon all of the extra shit. There's a save point right before you beat the game so I can just reload and act like nothing happened. Not going to wait long enough to where I'm quick hitting for 99,999 though because that just won't be fun.

I've already started making my characters dip into other characters' sphere grids so I should be able to handle some parts of Omega Ruins. Just hard finding time to play, it was easy doing storyline shit after work or whatever but knowing how challenging and time consuming some of this shit is makes it hard to sit on the couch and get in the zone.

The chocobo race comes to mind, and the first game of blitz if you're really ocd....although you're well past that and I'd imagine they took out the bug where you can just chill in your own goal to win.

Surprisingly they didn't take out the bug where you can chill behind your own goalie; actually, not too surprising since their entire focus with the re-release was the graphics and not the game itself. But yeah, that's nice since I suck ass at Blitzball. I've won two games in the tournament, trying to get Attack Reels (50 hours into the game with one Overdrive for Wakka).

Managed to grab Tidus' and Yuna's ultimate weapons so far, funny thing with Yuna's and her One MP ability, I had Lulu learn Ultima, Yuna use a black magic sphere to learn it, then had Yuna go and drift into the very end of Lulu's grid for Doublecast, so if I'm in the mood I can doublecast two 1 MP Ultimas. After looking into it a bit more I'm aiming for Auron's ultimate next, then probably Rikku's. Game is so fun.
