FFVII definitely takes the cake on this one. Most epic RPG i've ever played hands down (I wish they'd remake it so that the 2nd and 3rd disks are as good as the 1st disk though). It's rare to see a modern RPG contain the same elements that FFVII had. I hate the emphasis on graphics in modern games, and the lack of decent storyline and character portrayal.

FFVII being the first 3d based game of the series it was awesome and by far the best story line EVAR!
i even watched the Movie and it was pretty good too if they where to make a remake of FFVII i would love to see the Characters look like the Movie CGI cause they where epic Vincent was badass in the movie(never really seen much of the other members but when they showed up it was kool)

So much of this, especially the freaking graphics part.
I'm not sure if FfVII would have been as good without the block arms! (partly serious there too)
