Bastion (awesome music too; I bought the soundtrack).
Dungeons of Dredmor (sunk a goos 20 hours in this one; it is quite fun).
Alan Wake (pretty fun, unique, and only took around 15 hours).
Atom Zombie Smasher (Not really an rpg but hella fun; has some rpg element)..
Braid (more like a puzzle adventure, amazing game).
Bioshock 1 (awesome).
Dead Space was okay.
Dues Ex (a classic I am sure you have played).
Half Life 1/2
Legend of Grimrock (This game was crazy fun. Old school rpg dungeon crawler with good graphics and awesome puzzles).
Mass Effect 1/2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (pleasant surprise here, similar to fallout 3/4, but much more realistic, much harder, and frickin scary/creepy later on in the story). Hidden gem.
I heard Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines is good but I have not played it yet.

i have not played deus ex. i heard it was really good, i will have to try this one soon.

im currently playing legend of grimrock also, it reminds me of wizardry (before it went lame and jap)

recently played and beat bioshock, it was pretty good.

ive played mass effect 1 and 2, not a huge fan of that series.




at the moment i picked up divinity 2: dragon knight saga, it's rough around the edges, but its sucking me in. also, it's a bit difficult at times. i have a soft spot for euro rpgs

Alot of ppl are playing skyrim now-a-days, they say it's really good, altho, im not into 1player games so i dont play it lmao.
hummm, although it's not a mmorpg, Black ops 2 is coming out next month you might wanna look into it im sure you've heard of it lol. it's one of the best fps's out there
im currently playing a mmorpg called "Pandora saga" it's pretty fun so far. it's a bit slow when you first start playing it cuz theirs alot of running. but as you level, things start speeding up. also, another good thing about this game is; it isn't a pay to win game. almost every item in the game can be found off of mobs which is pretty damn cool the lvl cap atm is 55, which im sure it'll go to 60 here pretty soon.

Ahh, yes the classics. True RPGs. I would second these recomendations. Especially the BG series.

dark messiah is alot of fun, recommend you get that on steam its mega cheap, mount and blade could be alright, or the new chivalry game coming out soon, You could also try dragon age origins and dragon age 2, and i agree with some other people that fallour is alot of fun
