Those 2 games are awesome in single player. But Sacred: Underworld is something else...I think it beats d2 any day. If the online community didnt go apeshit on Sacred 2, i'd still be playing.

If you got a Dreamcast, or can get an Emulator, I'd definatley get Record of Lodoss War.
Baldurs Gate 1 & 2, and Champions of Norrath 1 & 2 are also some of the best RPGs ever. Top-down hack n' slash like, but a shitload of monsters/items/spells to use.

try sorcery quest. Can pick an evoker which is a mage so theres your magic requirement and they have warriors and knights
