Like I said, it has been a long time since I've beaten the game, but I did think the whole ending with Melbu Frahma just came out of nowhere. It's like the whole game you are chasing after Lloyd just to find out that someone else was actually pulling the strings. That's what I meant when I said the ending caught me by surprise, the events of the last few hours of the game were pretty well hidden. And that's what I liked, it made the ending seem fresh. For most games you just chase one guy, but this one threw a curve ball.

Definitely threw a curve ball. I was droning the last few hours like "Alright, when will this garbage be over..." and the next thing I know I'm fighting some crazy insectoid dude in a desert that's alternating between day and night. What I didn't expect was the FMV at the end. I'm very stubborn when there's something I'm not enjoying and the that movie/conclusion had me re-evaluating my whole attitude on the game. Not too sure of the replay value, I might never touch this game again, but more often than not, I'd probably recommend this game to a friend.
