I'd have to say the Final Fantasy's. Any on the PS...

Chrono Chross
Chrono Trigger
Xenogears
Parasite Eve
Vagrant Story

Never played Grandia/Dragon Quest/Tales of (except for Tales of Symphonia on the cube, it's awesome)/star ocean games.

That's all I can think of so far, Maybe I'll add more in the future seeing as a friend and me are currently really into retro gaming (playing FFVIII with a no-level up game ftw)

maybe Baldurs Gate 2 (I love pen&paper D&D)
maybe Vampire Bloodlines

I don´t know if it fits here, but Zelda 1+3+4 should be mentioned, too ^^ (I never played Zelda 2)
