I'd reccomend Advance Wars. Was a pretty great game in my opinion.

I'm gonna try shining force on the xbox; i'll let you know what I think.

I kinda thought shining force and shining force 2 were kinda lame, but they were from 1992 and 1993 so yeah...( I only played them for like a half hour each )

If you can handle graphics.
Shining force 1 and Especially Shining force 2 on Genesis, vandal heart on Playstation 1 was great as well.
Fire emblem series is good as well ( gamecube ) didnt try the one on the wii.
