I think I still have my original NES Final Fantasy 1 cart and box/manual + strategy guide from when it came out. I bought it 2 days after it came out (by pure chance, I went to buy Dragon Warrior II, they were all out, so I was looking at the back of boxes and saw FF, and it looked a lot similiar, so I bought it instead.)

I always did prefer the Dragon Warrior series however.

Still a classic game. I remember the first time I beat Chaos, it was quite an awesome thing.

eheh dragon warrior rox, although im not too keen on that ps1 version dragon warrior VII, it makes you wana crawl into a hole when you finally reach the class changing colisseum.

I stil got my nes and I still play...but unfortunately I didnt buy FF for nes (meh I think I was 4 years old back then

Dreamcast has some really GOOD games... Soul Calibur, Shenmue (I & II) those are really...incredible, Virtua Tennis (I & II), Jet Grind Radio, RE: Code Veronica, Skies of Arcadia (rpg)...^^

the only old school RPG's I've played is ancient final fantasy for nes, (I forget which one, but it had like 10 different colors) and the zelda games, which don't really count I guess. I also want to own BG I and II, and morrowind GoTY for Xbox

Baldurs Gate I & II are really good games (the 2nd one even better imo), you should have them.
And yep, I forgot Morrowind, an amazing rpg too.

Great list, Striker. I have practically all of them. I've spent 500+ hours on FFT.

I've been trying to get Disgaea because I've heard good things.. but it's being a bitch to find. Is it worth having, anyone?
