What are some good singple player rpg games that focus on getting good gear? I loved d2 of course, I also loved borderlands and have been playing a lot of borderlands 2, but now I need something new.

Can be for either PC, PS2, or Xbox 360.

ps persona 4 sucked.

If you're looking for something a bit more casual than the typical RPG experience, it's a bit oldschoo,l but I really enjoyed the original "Fable" title.. I'd pass on the sequels etc. but the first game was very well done...

However, it's obviously not nearly the same experience as Diablo 2... I've yet to find a good ARPG that can even compare to it.... So... if you find one, let me know!

thanks for this suggestion, i was also looking for a new game to play. saw this post and bought it after digging a bit deeper. this game is great so far, ive made my own skill build and researched the items i am going to try to go for.
going to try for staff wielding heavy armor battle mage. i think it will be sick when i am done. thanks again!

It's an awesome game that didn't get nearly the fanfare it deserved. The IP for the title recently went to auction, and didn't get a single bite even at the opening bid. Sadly, I think we'll never see a KOA 2
