I'm getting my new gaming labtop on March the 1st, in anticipation of the three highly-anticipated RPGs coming out: Diablo 3, Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn. I really just want to focus on one game so I can play it a lot and become good at it. I'd rather not find myself playing all three at the same time because then I'll never get anywhere like that. But I'm tired of waiting for all the constant delays with the so-called polishing of the games.

It may come down to which one is released first. I'll just go with that game because I just want to play a good RPG that is similar to all the fun I had on Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Titan Quest: Immortal Throne -- two games I no longer play. Why don't these developers just rush as fast they can to get the game on the store shelves and then release future patches to fix any bugs? I understand they want the best game possible for initial release but there will always be minor glitches.

It just seems like I've been waiting years and years for something really good. I keep hearing the game is close, etc... etc... But when!!!!!



I've always been a fan of Max Schaefer, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with the Torchlight 2 delay. But hopefully the BETA only last one or two months (tops) and is out in the next few weeks. I don't want to get to the summertime still waiting on these games. I'm starting to think Diablo 3 may be out before Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn. If these games aren't out by June I may as well give up on RPGs.

Guild Wars 2 should be pretty good also but I'm not really into MMORPGs. I enjoy action RPGs the most which is why I think Torchlight 2 is more for me. Looks to have that Titan Quest and Diablo 2 feel to it. I emailed Max Schaefer this morning asking him for any new details. He already responded back to me and says he has another YouTube interview coming up next Sunday. I always remember using the Schaefers hammer on my Druid. It was named after him, LOL

Borderlands 2 ftw!..anyways, check out Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Came out a week or 2 ago and it's supposedly quite wicked.

blizzard for one for sure wont release a game before is done, you can go talk to activision and ea if you want those kind of games

That's why I'm leaning towards Torchlight 2 instead of Diablo 3. It will have single player and LAN play. I'm not sure about Grim Dawn yet but the former creators of Titan Quest helped make the game so it should be fun to play. Since Diablo 2 and Titan Quest were two of my favorite RPGs ever made, I think Torchlight 2 and Grim Dawn will be an upgrade over those games because the creators are the same people. It may just be that Diablo 3 is the game I play the least, assuming I can get past all of the Blizzard hype.

Who cares about torchlight? What the fuck when Diablo 3 comes out, that's it.

i will play all 3 whenever they come out and play the one i like the most. for some weird reason, I don't think D3 will be the one that I like the most. mainly because I think WoW bleeded too much into it that it no longer resembles anything like D1 or D2, other than the storyline.
