Decided to give this game a go once I'm done with Legend of Dragoon (which should be by the end of today, hopefully). What are your guys' thoughts on the game?

A game I've owned for years but never really got in to. I played like the first couple of hours. Not that I thought it was bad, because I didn't, but for some reason I never continued it. All I hear is good things about it though. On an unrelated note, I did play the first Xenosaga game, and I thought it was good enough, this is somewhat similar imo.

xenogears is a masterpeice

Not that far into it yet, but I'm really feelin' it.

Let me know what you think about it when you're finished. We seem to have similar views on FF games at least. I've been thinking about getting it from the PSN.

It wasn't like I would've quit playing the game had I heard a bunch of negative feedback. Just wanted to spark up some JRPG discussion. I think the game is just wild, incredible even. Lost a few hours of gameplay due to a save state issue, so I probably won't pick it up for a few weeks, but damn.
