i dont know if this is the right topic for this.. but i was wondering out of whoever plays this here who is the best character and why?
i just got this game from a friend and im completely clueless. i started out with the huge black dude but im kinda second guessing myself since he cant use guns?
any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I liked the asian chick the best.

any reason?
it seems like the black dude swings very slow and runs out of stamina very quickly.

The differences between the characters are minimal. And all characters can use all weapons, the only thing that changes for each character is their talent tree and their rage special(aka limit break).

Black dude - Blunt weapon speciality, his rage mode = super hulk fists, which pretty much one shots zombies
china chick - sharp weapons like swords and shit, her rage mode = super fast dagger that one shots zombies
the white dude - gun speciality, his rage mode he throws little daggers are super speed that have a chain lightning effect which also one shots zombies
black chick - no idea what she does, but probably worse choice out of all of them.

You won't be using very many guns thorugh the game its more of a way to break up some boring segments where your just chopping zombies. I'd go with chinese chick because the sharp weapons do the most damage(plus you get samurai swords later in the game) and dont have awkward attack animations like double handed maces and stuff.

the white dude is the throwing specialist not gun, the gun specialist is the black chick.
and how do u know if shes bad if you have no idea what she does? not trying to be arrogant or an asshole just pointing that out.
i might stick with the black dude for now and maybe try out the sword chick. thanks for your input.

Woops mixed those two together. I haven't played in a few weeks ever since i beat the campaign.

When I'm saying bad, I don't mean like DEAR LORD BUFF THIS HOE. I just mean the other characters are stronger early,mid, and late game. She's a niche character thats just there for the 4th slot. You'll regret black dude IMO but it's a game have fun with who you want the replay value is great when buddies are online.

so the general consensus would be to go with the sharp weapons chick?
i was wondering why youd think id regret pursuing sam b?

sam b isn't bad. they all swing weapons the same. he has most health in the game. which is needed.

black chick is garbage. no health. you will die in basically one hit.

asian chick has decent stamina and can take a hit. low health though.

white dude has decent stamina and massive health + fire resistance and what not.

and they can all use guns....idk where you got that info...
