i would say its the most popular rpg and it has been out and has kept its quality for the longest time (not anymore ).
however, i do not think that d2 is the world's number one.

I dont think there is EVER THE greatest anything really....I mean I love this game, but I love FF7, and I LOVE most all of the Zelda series, and Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, I think they are two of the greatest GAMES ever made

Its all personal preference and for me there is no "greatest" just a small list of "greats"

I admit theres alot of other great rpg games, but Diablo is my number 1.

Def. pretty good but with All those other newer games comin out and the gpx not getting any better will soon fade out... Still its a great game
