Ok, im going on a float pretty soon and im gonna be stuck on a ship for almost 3 months and im looking for some good games that don't require online or a cd (single player cd cracks work for me).

Im hoping to find some oldschool games like might and magic or something along those lines... preferably i'd like to find a site where you can download games that don't require cds or online (also free :) )

anyone have any suggestions?

oh, and those newer mini-notebooks (not sure what they are called)... would these work decently to play older games if i got an external hard drive to carry them on? I'm going to be the platoon scribe and it would be really nice to have one of these but i really don't want to buy it if you can't play older games on em.

What Im looking for in order...
1) fun - boring games suck
2) long lasting - even if its just like ocarina of time, where it just took a while to 100% the game
3) low space usage - more games are better for me than one good one when it comes to single player

50 fg will be awarded to best advice in this matter

On a related note (will not be apart of the 50 fg offer)... what games with a digital format (no cd) are really worth buying?

It depends on how old school you want to go.

You can get a SNES or GBA emulator and download the entire pack of all games ever made for it (about a Gig of memory)
Jewels like Chrono Trigger, Castlevania Aria Of Sorrow and the like

If that's too far back for you, try Warcraft 2 or Starcraft
