Black Desert Online is the most promising

revolutionary combat based on skill instead of mindless clicking buttons like other boring mmo's (mainly ArcheAge)

I am buying a brand new PC in order to play BDO...

been waiting for over a year now for this game... its online right now for Korea but still waiting for the EU/NA release (supposed to be released this year)

I have an account and have played a bit but I'm not terribly impressed. It's great looking but it has that Korean feel, and it's not a desired feel...It is grindy--big surprise but I'm still wondering what else it brings to the table other than "new".

Same here.

I kind of regret buying an account for it HOWEVER, I think it has to do with the localization. It's hard to get immersed in a game that you can't very well understand. Yes the basics are understandable and how to fight etc and those are GREAT imo, but that can hold you over for only so long.

The game is in such a stage right now with no endgame content as well, there really is no raids/boss monsters that are very hard etc, so given time that will be fixed and a better endgame goal will be there. It's a great start, but what it needs is some time.

Might not be the next "big" MMO as in World of Warcraft, but The Repopulation has been amazing so far. It mixes SWG with Ultima Online, complete sandbox world where you can do anything. The Devs are constantly making updates (it's in early access alpha right now), and every update adds a ton to the game. Then again, I grew up playing SWG and UO, so I may be biased.
