they are planning on 4 story driven expansions right now, once per year with free game content updates in between them. so that will be 5 years of story driven game play and probably more if everything goes well.

there are over 80 player owned villages, towns, and cities which people have payed real money for.

the combat looks terrible, only thing keeping me from trying out the game.
