Sets up a game world that is similar to "The World" from the .hack// anime series. If you haven't seen it you should. Mind you it is fairly slow the whole way through but the plot is great enough as it is.

Anyways the game is the same general layout as the anime with some added areas and stuff that the "users" want to see of course. Have not played it yet so I cant give personal preference on game play.

Free to use on Friday and Saturday every week. Also it is $40 minimum to buy into early access Alpha right now for "unlimited time".

dude I was a .hack//sign fan since the beginning..... I've played Infection Mutation Outbreak Quarantine.. G.U full way too... I've seen all the animes multiple times and the movies....

but I gave up on an MMO a long time ago.... maybe 5 years ago, but this renews my faith in the .hack fanbase.... the fact that they loved this anime so much, by putting so much of their personal time and effort into making this a reality, it just makes me happy


I will definitely play this if it is not another hoax...

I tried to download a .hack//mmo game years ago and all it was was a cheap remake of the town... it was very disappointing... plus I had to go through a whole process of making an account and registering to some shitty site... that was long ago.... probably when you kids were still shitting in your diapers..... haha im kidding

I tried the game for about an hour since it is free today to play. This game is still very much so early Alpha. Few basic shops from the get go to start you off. To use the portal you need the 3 keywords for the area you want to travel too, ect.

Graphics are 3d but not horribly well rendered. I think there is only one class in the game atm because I was not able to pick and choose. It just stuck me right into the game.

The concept is great and I would love for a game like this to become a reality but right now it is "playable" but not really "playable" if you catch my drift. (very basic and still many bugs)

Just going to be keeping my eye on this and see where it goes.

yes you have to use the 3 key words to use the waypoint service in the game, however there game is lacking a multitude of areas. I was only able to find like 2 areas though lol
