something fun to play and something I could potentially make fg off of through the course of playing. I looked up new popular mmo's but some of the top listed like dragons nest vindictus and tera are all already abandoned and dead. is guild wars 2 worth buying? I liked the first one in terms of gameplay but it seemed like farming for items and gold was not even close to being worth the effort

Guild Wars 2 is worth buying and playing for a while.. but if you are looking for a really awesome mmo - LOOK at WILDSTAR.

thanks I'll check out wildstar I've already heard some about it. I gave tera a shot and I'm liking it so far but I like sidescrollers more than any 3d mmos. Maplestory in it's early days before it was ruined by massive updates and a cash shop was my favorite mmo, that kinda play style was my all time favorite so if anyone knows of anything similar already out or anything like that coming out in the near future that would be cool. Also one big thing I'm looking for in any non sidescrolling mmos is the option to use a controller, I hate having my hand on a mouse all day so anything heavily keyboard reliant or with the option for a controller would be a plus
