I'm new to the Mmo scene but I was looking for a free, wide player base Mmo, that also has a great market on here.
I know perfect world would be a good one or cabal but I need other suggestions. And wasn't cabal shutting down? Ok back on topic though! Need Mmo suggestions!!!

In all honestly, WoW is a very good MMO for a starting point (F2P up until 20 i believe?).
Although I know some people would like to avoid it altogether, so..... I guess i'd have to recommend Rift or Neverwinter (which is a bit more Action-MMO)

And if you wanted a more specific style MMO:
Vindictus - Instanced action MMO
Runes of magic - Rated top wow clone
Path of exile - Birds eye "clicky" MMO (like diablo)
Firefall - TPS MMO

Rift (Just went F2P and is a great game overall. I would say this blows most F2P's out of the water)

i feel like, once u play wow and really get into it, its really hard to play other mmorpgs,
or at least it is for me
played wow for like 8 years
i find my self comparing every mmo i try to wow

As someone who played multiple MMO's before playing WoW and then played WoW from start up to pandaria i prefer Rift.

wow is great, until you get to endgame and have to chose between life/vagina or raiding.. tbh.

eden eternal is a good anime style free mmo
rift is not bad
Runes of magic is fun AF but if your into pvp its broke imo, but pve its fun
everquest 2 is super fun imo.
Age of Titans is a good free one too.

i like poe too but there is just something about it that i cant really get super absorbed into it.

WoW seems to be the answer just sucks you have to pay for it! Runes of magic awesome that its f2p, might check it out!!

Is there any reason why your avoiding Rift? Great game man really. The end game raiding is nice!
