hey I just started playing and I had a few noob questions:

I play Eve, what does walking while holding one of the attacks down do for you? I notice my mana bar charges up but when I let go nothing happens.

Also, are there benefits to joining guilds? What do guilds offer in a game like this?

Also, is Eve mostly magical dmg or physical? Im not sure.

That when your mana bar charges is callled mana breaking which is mostly used in pvp.
It forces your character to get knocked down when you are getting comboed, using all the mana you have charged (min 100mana).

Guilds give you few benefits depending of the guild skills they have chosen.
Common ones are : more mana gained when attacking, 25% more hp/mp from consumables.

And Eve is semi neutral on the magical/physical dmg balance. Some skills do physical some magical..
I recommend you to check the elsword forums for skill builds and other quick guides out there.
But mostly Eve is physical as far as i know.
