Just bought a new laptop and I was dying to try out dc universe online. While I do like the game it seems to me that it's pay to win. (only can carry 1500 cash, come on)

I'm looking for a easy to get into mmo, that isn't pay to win

right now I'm thinking of runes of magic or perfect world. anybody got any experience with these games? or should I just go out and buy gw2?

I am also looking for another game, something to get into with my girlfriend. I have years invested in Diablo II and a small game called Illutia that has no stat cap. I want to find another game that I can get addicted to for as long as those games, but everything I have researched is pay to win. That is the online gaming model now, free to play - pay to win. I think Diablo III is ruined by this unless I can start playing D3 for profit. Good luck finding a new game, and let me know if you do because I am also hunting. I am trying out Extalia MapleStory tonight with some friends. We have never played MS, so it will at least be a new experience. Your best bet is to get a paid game or play a private server.

ah maplestory is a great game but it bores me now after having a lvl 200 with 1.7 bil mesos =/

i've been playing Pandora saga for a few days, seems pretty fun, altho, the downer is the fact that you gotta run alot in the early stages of the game. the lvl cap is 55atm
this game has been f2p for a year. most of the items in the game can be found off of mobs. this is def not a pay to win type of game
