to vote for something it doesn't take any sort of download at all, you just sign up an account, and after you do, i have never even gotten 1 piece of junk email from them.

to play the games it doesn't require downloads either normally, you can play through telnet but if you wish to enjoy the full gaming experience of a mud you would usually download either CMud or Zmud or some other mud client

the site has been around forever there are no issues with any sorts of hacks keyloggers trojans viruses etc...

the mud i always play is called eternal darkness - its a great time, some good people there ive been playing it since 1997, still haven't maxed out my chars, but im close. there's almost unlimited playability on ED. muds are what ladderslasher was originally designed from if you look at njag's explanation of it. ladderslasher was at one point considered a graphical mud, which sounds weird but it was
