So this is pretty much the ultimate zombie game of all time.. If you have loved hardcore games (one life, permanent death), you're gonna love this game.
Its a mod for Arma II a military combat simulation game. The engine is very dark spooky looking, perfect for a zombie mod. You begin the game with nothing
but a bandage, and a box of pain killers. Trust me; you will die many times before you find a gun. Not only do you have to look out for zombies, but other "survivors"
or players as well. The world pvp is spectacular and the entire time you play, you have your volume all the way up, sitting on the edge of your seat, and your heart is

Global. There are plenty off different National Servers, though. It's not like you make a charcater on one and you wont have it on another. Your character is Globaly saved and will be available for you whatever server you jump from & to.
It's the ultimate Survival Game (A Mod based on a game) ever made. The map is over 220KM Virtualy. It would take you just as long to walk that distance in the game as it would in real life. You never run out of stamina, though.
You can build vehicles if you find parts for them.

It's a pretty good mod. Happens to be on sale on steam for 17.99 right now for arma 2 combined operations (the game and expansion required to run the mod)

I just had a character and survived for 6 days whilst killing 106 people

Was brought down by a hacker but they are constantly updating the anti-cheat and whatnot.

Well worth checking out.
