it was good, last i read the new owners were changing lots of things about it.

im dling it as well right now. I had no idea open beta started. I guess I'll have to pause up on drakensang for this.

game had several major flaws that is why it failed and got shut down twice:
- game engine causes the graphics to shutter even on monster PC :(
- in game gold exploits available causing in game economy to crash :o
- extremely expensive cash shop - for example: while it is actually NECESSARY to have a inventory expansion it was like $15/month per 1 bag LOL :D
- borked travel system, no waypoints, as effect player feel like just running around all day long for no reason :huh:
- completely broken crafting system: over 100 (maybe over 200) different ingredients needed for crafting BUT only some of them available in game LOL :(
- badly designed skills balance causing players to play only 2 'builds' which I can not even call builds - just spamming 2 skills :wacko:
- overpowered bosses (too much HP) - 15 minutes of boring hit-hit-hit-hit.... - it does not make sense in HnS game, does it?
- silly graphics in towns :unsure:
- silly sounds of players and skills :unsure:

on the PLUS:
- fantastic graphics inside dungeons only :evil:
- excellent sound effects from monsters and ambient :love:

game is ftp so just feel it yourself :D

pretty sure thanks to this guy ill prob never try this game out

just being honest.
all the flaws were reported multiple times to the developers during 3 months beta.
when game was released all they (frogster) changed was the login screen :P
and loooowered exp rate so it all become a korean grindfest OMG

there was one more issue I forgot to mention:
game features 'luck' attribute which is responsible for number/quality of drops - similar to D2
maximum luck is 200, beginner character has 0 luck, I managed to exploit crafting system and eventually had 270 luck at chlvl 21
firstly: my drops did not change at all, secondly: frogster was not able to patch this exploit and released game with it

NOW lets hope that t3fun will make better job with this game

Thats what happens when the diablo 2 team makes a game then they sell it off to a bunch of koreans, the take a brilliant game and ruin it.

these guys didn't play flagship studios, they played vendor mythos. Flagship mythos was getting thumbs-up left and right. I'm hoping this coming mythos rocks like that as well.
