So, I'm looking for a game that's lobby based (similar to combat arms, gunz, rakion, etc,)
with a fps element AS WELL as an item element.
So, an fps, pick up and play kind of game with the ability to level up and/or get new weapons and items.
Any suggestions? Preferably items can be earned without paying extra money

Try dragon nest? its a hack and slash game. and 3rd person with fps style to it.

prefer something more pvp oriented instead of having to level THEN pvp

s4 league, aliance of valient arms, tf2. also, check mmohut under shooter section. might find something you like there.

Still looking, found a couple of games that look promising. Bloodline champions. Might try LoL, although I feel like i'm going to go destroyed if I try it.

hard to say. LoL is a team based game and unless you get some people to run with or happen to random into a good team then you can get wiped very fast. if you do start playing LoL let me know and i'll add you to my friends list
