Game is pretty basic, but my net's pretty shoddy and can't handle a lot of what's around these forums. Also i can just go offline/online whenever and not a single care will be given.

to see what the battle system is like, go try a battle on there, you won't get magic till ages into the game though.
Create a new account, make sure it is on the HUMAN side. as far as i'm aware there is no promo code so can't help you there.
It starts you off talking to Cheif Kort , or in the town Klesva (if he's not there you probably did not select human!), select him (he's like right in the middle) do his crappy quests, this will give you some idea of the game.
The aim from now is to hit level 3 as soon as possible. Quests give large amounts of exp, but require loads of running around. You can fight mobs, i'd recommend any level 2 monster at levels 1-2. level 1 monsters don't give any good drops.
1 quest i would very much recommend is: Big Hunt for Wild Hounds given by elder baguron in o'del'vays. This allows you to teleport to town upto 3 times per day.
at level 3: the 2 quests i would REALLY recommend doing is vaslav's wallet in lights edge, then to end the quest (after talking to gloum then finding it (not hard)) give the wallet to gloum, who gives you about 2gold for it. Then the main part of the plan to get fast fg. Go to Luan Coast talk to stavros about experimental armor, kill the phitzells (they're nearby), then ask for executioner/bonecrusher items. Now see how fast those phitzells die!
The idea now is to kill as many level 3 mobs (if it has over 200 hp, then it's probably too strong to be worth bothering with) personally i'd buy the cheapest food item in o'del'vays, so there's no waiting around waiting for hp to restore. buy ~100 of them. won't cost much and tbh more killed is more gold.
Items which will drop regularly:
level 1 leather items: sell to shop or drop them, only worth 10 copper.
level 2 shield/club: sell to shop or drop them, worth 30 copper.
level 3/4/5 leather items: place on auction, 24h for roughly 25-30s. It's usually better to go to wolf wasteland and to buy ~10-15 scrolls of destruction (cost 10 silver each) and to use them on lvl 3/4/5 leather items. then sell them, as they cost less to put up on auction and sell for a similar/bigger price.
Jeweller Recipes: sell to shop, will get between 5 and 30 silver each. Though they say they're worth 5gold they definitely arn't.
Green equipment: worth roughly 5gold on auction. (executioner/mammoth/twilight)
Fossils/locked chests: put on auction for a price similar to ones already up.
I reckon you can kill roughly 2 level 3 monsters each minute with executioner set. 1 in 1000 kills (roughly) will drop a 5g green item. 1 in 30 will drop a fossil (20s), 1 in 50 will drop a level 3-5 leather item. 1 in 30 will drop a jeweller recipe. 100% of them will roughly 20-99 copper, Those are rough estimates.

FAQ:
q1: Will i be on the same server as you?
a1: There is only 1 server for each nationality, make sure it's .com and you choose human then you'll be fine.
q2: So why am i not killing tonnes of mobs myself?
a2: EXP! I wish to stay at level 4 for a while longer, as i like the lvl 3-4 pvp area.
q3: what is a fight like?
a3: go try a battle on there (they have one on their frontpage), you won't get magic till ages into the game though. This is a 1v1, especially in pvp events, you can easily get 10++ fighting 10++
q4: Why can i not put on a particular piece of equipment?
a4: you need to be particular levels to use items, even if they're pretty crap! for example you will not be able to use a helmet till lvl 5.
q5: What are superblows?
a5: they are a combination of blows (upper, middle, bottom) which cause your attacks to do more damage or cause an effect. For each player these will be different. It's recommended that you use your strongest one over and over
q6: How do i find my superblow
a6: just try attacks in different ways, there are websites about which can help.



Currently the server is down for maintenance which sucks should be up again in ~3 hours from this post.

Currently paying 5fg per gold. May consider paying more, depends how many are interested. would probably ALWAYS be interested buying 1 gold for 5 fg though.
Trades will happen as follows. when in game we set up the tradescreen (similar to d2 tradescreens) you put the amount of gold you own into the trade then ready is clicked, it will then go to a confirm screen. At this screen i will pay half the fg for the gold, then you send the Legacy gold then i will pay the rest of the fg.

lets bring it up to 10 fg per gold.

forgot to mention for potions, sell or use all except for elixir's of giant. sell elixirs of giant for ~20 copper short of what they're "worth" as a buy it now on auction.

So time lengths:
Signing up: 2 minutes. (make sure you choose human)
Doing Kort's crappy quests and getting a feel for the game: ~10 minutes. most of that is getting a feel for it. Most people should be 1-3 mins.
Hitting level 2;
By quests: ~30 mins. the rewards arn't that great though. some of them can be good. Gold received: 1+.
by monsters ~40-60 mins. You should be killing level 2 monsters at lvl 1. doesnt matter if you die, you lose nothing at this stage. should get a few drops. probably 2-3 items to sell for 20s, and 1-2 leather items. Gold received: 1-2 (possibly +5 gold if a green armor drops, 1 in 1000 chance)
Hitting level 3:
By quests and a few monsters: 40-70 mins. gold received: 2+
by monsters ~90-120 mins: Continue killing level 2 mobs. should get ~2-3 gold with chance of getting a green armor drop. gold received: 4+
Doing level 3 quests:
Vaslav's wallet: ~15-25 mins. gold received: 2. (remember to take it to gloum, not vaslav) a lot of walking around but a good reward.
experimental armor quest: 15 mins, most annoying part is walking there. killing the 3 phitzells is no problem. Gold received: 0. Items received : 5-6 items which last 3 days which will make things a LOT easier to kill. I recommend the executioner/bonecrusher set as this increases damage the most.
Time used up so far:
Quest route: ~2.5 hours. gold received~ 3-5. (remember to put on auction any elixirs of giants you get from the quests)
Monster killing route: ~4 hours. gold received~ 4-6 + roughly a 1 in 5 chance of getting a green armor worth 5 gold.

After this you will be able to kill each weak lvl 3 monster in roughly 20-30 seconds each. each monster drops copper (which stacks up fairly fast). good chance of receving items, see first post for what to do with most of these.
Each hour you can kill roughly ~100-150 monsters. I would say each monster is "roughly" 2-2.5 silver on average, with a 1 in 1000 chance each of dropping a green armor worth 5g. so each hour ~2g++

so basically i'm paying ~20 fg per hour of your time with a decent chance of getting a bonus 50fg.
feel free to try out the PVP arena (crystalline caves), i'd recommend you wait till you got the experimental equip first, only available at lvl 3-4.

you get free gold for getting 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 of the way to a level up as well. obviously the higher the level you are, the more gold you get.
Do note though it's pretty time consuming to increase your level. for most people will hit level 3-4 and never get close to level 5. roughly lvl 3 monsters would be my estimate to get from 4 to 5.

Just hit level 3 last night, I'll go through and try to get those executioner items, then maybe I'll have some gold for you soon.

use the navigator to go to lights edge if you dont know where it is. quest is very simple, an easy 20 fg

ahhh, special event atm. Especially easy to make gold atm, due to this sadly rate is going down and only accepting from level 3+'s.

For while it isn't against the rules to trade for nothing, it's "probably" looked down on.

8 fg per gold. Ultra easy to make while the current christmas event is in motion.
