Couple more questions:
1) It seems that there is no real "item hunt" in the game is there? Looks like all the items/recipes in the game can be bought from vendors? Are there things that drop in the game that are sought after? So far it looks like it is all Crowns/Heat/Tokens/Craft stuff.
2) I have bought the Cobalt Armor and Defender recipes, but have not crafted them yet. I am being told by some people that I should avoid those paths and go different routes. I did make a Calibur sword, and almost everyone seems in favor of that one. Any suggestions here?
Items do drop, but its not like Diablo ^^ Its very rare that an actual item ( armour, weapon, bomb, shield, helm, gun etc ) will actually drop :3
I myself wasnt aware of it until very recently :3
But recipes + better items are expensive to get. and they also take time. you cant just expect a 5 item instant unless you buy from a seller here or from the AH @ an insane price. imo thats cheating + no point then playing.
Your going on for the peircing route, you will have no elemental defence/resistance therefore in tier 2-3 you are going to suffer huge :3
Myself for tier 1 had a swiftstrike shield for tiers 2-3 i went for the owlite series.. i now have my grey owlite ( 5*) and it took me over a month to get it.
Your build will vary on what you want to play, myself am aiming to get be able to do the last boss vanaduke efficiently therefore i need mass fire resistance + peircing therefore i went for vog items also for style
I have good resistances in this case i was lucky enough to craft a UV with high peircing def ^^ It would also require me to have a decent gun + bomb in my inventory also :3
There are many ways to make different builds for different things, there is no set specific way you must follow :3 its whats best for you!
