I respectfully disagree about the looks and plays....LOTHLO or not. D2 graphics are choppy at best.. At least UO is toony enough... and as far as play style goes they are hardly comparable. Pvp is very different. But it still remains to be said that UO has tons of other shit to do, PvM for one.. and that's just the broad term for the thing that d2 lacks... yeah you can craft and magic find but that is like mining for diamonds in a coal mine... The user who made the thread was asking for a Game he can buy into and i was only offering the solution i found years ago when i was in the same situation. UO, despite its prehistoric graphics and gameplay, offers A lot to do, especially if you have never played it and are not a burnt out LOTHLO player :)

The 'MFing' in UO is done via Macros... -- Which is basically botting, but not nearly as defined a script as what we use in D2.

Fair enough though, UO is definatly not for me anymore.

found a game that can actualy keep me playing and thinking abotu it damn near all day wanting to spend cash on it haha. join Jade Dynasty at perfectworld.com it's amazing. i honestly dont even know how many quests their are lol. theirs ALOT. many pets, and mounts. different clothes. the max lvl is 150. you can join a clan, different alliances. craft....many many many things lol. give it a go :) join the doom bog server if ya join :) US-WEST :)

its a hack and slay game, with nice pvp and you can use cash shop to go IMBA i have a DEFENDER lvl 46 there and i am in the best GUILD of that server (Equilibrium)

perfect world international.

great graphics. lots of players. pve and pvp.

f2p. cash shops as well.

and it's kinda like WoW gameplay. as far as quest grinding and everything.

if you are interested in a turn based mmorpg you can try mythwars 2. their item malls dont really sell you items directly, but things you can buy to sell for gold to buy the items you want.

if you get some more fg i can give you a really good head start :P
