I'm starting today, any advice?
What's nice about this game is that even though you currently have 12 classes to pick from, there is overlap in terms of gear. For example, the melee and ranged dps classes all use light armor. They also all benefit from the same stats, which are agility, strength, crit. chance, crit. damage, and attack speed. Melee dps also value evasion, which also increases depending on how much bonus agility you have, but as you can see, most of the stats are the same. Rather than trying to play as many classes as possible, I would pick one or two classes that sound fun to you and focus on playing/learning them. However, it can be sort of frustrating trying to find a group as a DPS class (more-so with melee classes). I think it would be beneficial to consider leveling a tank class in addition to your main(s) in order to get groups faster. The only "downside" to that is you will need to invest some time/money into getting decent gear since tanks are a little more gear-dependent than the other classes.
