are new pets only acquired thru the shop or are they in the auction house too?

Most of the time you can sell Item Mall stuff (I havent seen anything you couldnt sell yet) So Im positive you can sell those too.

Oh. You said pets.. lol. They are Eidolons. If you are buying Item Shop Eidolons, they are only essence packs that you can buy from others with gold. You will have a % chance of getting the key itself, or the fragment, or other useless junk.

Another way to get key fragments is doing Temple of Eidolons (Recommended to do 3-4 times a day if possible). You have a chance to get a Key Fragment from the Eidolon you fight, and sometimes costumes.

More essence packs you buy, better chances of getting the eidolon you want faster

Pets and Eidolon are 2 different things.

Eidolon Crystals also help you spawn Eidolons to open world to kill for more fragments. Possibly a key summon too.

Try to find a guild (unless you're already in one) then go to Guild Hall for the day Tigerius appears. Then do Temple of Eidolons when you can. Or buy Tigerius Essence Packs and hope for some luck!
