Crafted has a RNG for its stats. Its possible you got terrible stats when you crafted it. Crafting gives extra stats as well (From the Cores) SO Crafting will always be better.

My 50 gear was better than level 60 Green Gear.

i think i have the most shit luck, ive ran like 40 dungeons and never got a single crafting recipe to drop.

It really depends on the costume too

Custom Witch Robes anything else - 500-600

Custom Devout Alocyte 2%Dmg - 500-700
Custom Devout Alocyte Anything else - 400-600

They fluctuate very frequently though. And I haven't been on these couple of days due to being too busy.
