i dont have a problem with GW selling gold, it will keep gold farmers away, and with drops in PvP, im fine with it.

Not much a different then buying RP in LoL.

You wont GG uber pwn people with more gold, just makes it easier to get to that peak point for people with a more hectic schedule.

I have a pretty open schedule, so i wont need to buy gold, but for those that do have a hectic schedule, go for it, power to ya.

nothing you can buy will give u a actual advantage in a fight, so w/e.

I'd be very surprised if it does. I'd expect it'd just mean theres an alternative to gold sellers, but gold sellers will still be cheaper.

The main 'issue' I can see is simply in regards to guild influence & WvW / dungeons etc. If guild influence isnt balanced well with boosts from gems then its essentially selling power in the form of guild perks via gems. Hopefully its possible to achieve the same levels of perks & such relatively easily.

At one point though, the work put in wont work to actually make any money. Also, many people would rather spend slightly more to get their gold legitly, AND support the company of the game they're playing.

this, I would much rather pay a few extra money to support ArenaNet

there is a lot debating going on over at GW2Guru, and so many people are raging about this.

But why? You can get all the cash shop items just by playing the game and buy gems from others and people who buy gems wont bring more money into the game, since there has to be someone spending time farming that gold. So it's a good gold sink aswell actually.

Cant buy items to win, and cant give urself a any power bonus, so i dont give a fuck what they sell.

yep, hope those people at GW2guru will understand this
