I have 36k at the moment, I don't need anymore, so if I can't get the ratio I wan't, I'll just save my fg for later.

It's also relative to what other things you can get with the CE though.

For example, I can very easily trade 350-400 CE for 1 TF2 Refined metal on steam forums. And regularly it can be lower, as low as 300:1 on a few occassions if I've found the right person.
1 TF2 Refined metal can be sold for 50-55 FG.

At those ratios, CE can be converted to FG in a range of 5.45 (300/55) - 8 (400/50) CE per 1 FG. Anything over that would lose money.

Now some people may not be able to trade TF2 items or use Steam, or want the hassle of finding the extra trade to get the FG. That's their choice. But it's why I wouldn't trade CE over the mentioned ratios.

As I said in an earlier post though, everyone is entitled to try and buy at their own prices, as I'm entitled to try and sell at mine.

Odds are I'm going to use a bit of my CE to buy Counter-Strike: Source, on the official Sk forums.

Dota2 beta invites are selling for ~$85 (2500fg) on jsp yet seem to be selling for ~$30 elsewhere so this logic doesn't really follow. You know as well as I do fg doesn't translate over that easily.

I don't think many sellers are in a rush to sell so everyone's at a standstill for a stable ratio at the moment.

I wasn't trying to incite a riot with that information or anything, just did a quick calculation and wanted to share it with everyone lol.

I have 40 fg though and am definitely looking to get some more CE. Anyone interested in say 350 ce for my 40 fg?

back when CE was selling loads on jsp it was selling for an average of 250fg for 1k CE

now its a rarity and no one is selling you expect it to sell for a cheaper price?

At the old price, id say the most you'd get for your fg is 20-30kCE depending on how well you bargain...

I bought some earlier for 15CE:1fg, and some the other day for 10CE:1fg. Prices are not what they were a year ago.

If nobody wants to sell at the price I'm looking for, I will save my fg until such a time.
