will ff14 have a monthly sub?


I assume so. Feel like free to play business model is the way of the future, won't see too many or any more mmo's with monthly subs

Ya Idk I have been doing a lot of research before purchasing it and it looks reaaaaaaaaaaly good. I'd rather P2P then deal with P2W.

Also their lowest sub gives you 1 character slot and that 1 character slot can play any class / any job at any time with a short CD.

Although I am going to wait 1 - 2 more weeks because they are having server issues and keep watching people who are streaming mass amounts of hours to see how the end game is.

I have watched a bit of high end raiding with clans and it looks intense!



Runes of Magic is great too, but reallllllly grindy.

Good game though. I heard its kinda dead though you may want to check it.

How's rifts grinding?

I personally leveled 1-50 at release and it was super easy back then.

My buddy who played quite a bit throughout the day went from 1-48 probably in 20 hours game play. That was straight questing. Not stopping for PVP or crafting ect.

Make sure if you pick it up to try and do your LFG Dungeons because they give a lot of XP.

I personally leveled 50-60 just by logging in and doing my daily pvp rewards in about 2 weeks. Playing 1-2 hours a day.

Is it p2w? How's the pvp aspect?

no use to play rift if u dont subscribe
u cant use auction u are limited to 2500 plat and alot other shitty cuts to your acc its like DEMO...
most of the MMO games that goes "F2P" use this model and it means:
"well u can play for free but u cant use this and that and u cant wear this and that and u will move slower and u will gain xp slower and u wont be able to get nice rewards.. oh and also its F2p but u wont be able to use the AH..
ah isnt core part of the game at all - its just cosmetic thing :), u can't earn profit from the ah, it sucks, u dont need to use it. So play our F2p game, waste your time, get addicted (or not) and then subscribe ( or gtfo we dont need u then,
u are only making hard times for the server, and also we wont give u technical support, coz u didnt subscribe)"

u can f2p the whole game
all u sac with f2p is 1 soul out of 6?
so u loose like 1 barely used support specc for cleric
and u can buy/win that addon pack which opens all speccc for each class 1/each

u get all free beside 1 specc for each class
i can suggest rift its good endgame/pvp if ur into it
min maxing is grindy tho in stat cases
