Actually WoW is a 'Copy' of Everquest. EQ was wildly successful and WoW devs were told to make a game like EQ and improve upon it. While functionality and combat interactivity were vast improvements, everything else about the game was dumbed down and made easy. Every MMO since WoW has basically copied the 'easy' design.

All of this is pretty pointless though because EVE doesn't play like any other mmorpg. It's a great game but slow to get into.

Meh true, eve takes a few years to get good at right? Its not a game you can buy shit and be good its a game where you take time and be good. And when your good game is badicly free cause the isk you make pays for gametime
